PRIMECorp operates PRIME-BC, British Columbia’s shared records and dispatch platform—connecting 14 police agencies, 135 RCMP detachments, and more than 10,000 officers through a secure, real-time system that supports modern policing.
We’re hiring a Manager, Technology Services to help keep this mission-critical environment reliable, secure, and high-performing. Reporting to the Director, Technology, you’ll lead multiple operational teams, oversee budgets within your portfolio, and help set departmental goals and priorities that support PRIMECorp staff and policing partners across BC.

What We’re Looking for:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Formal training or certification in IT service management ITIL Foundation v3 or later.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or RHCSA are an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, networking, database, or enterprise technology environments.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing technical teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Enterprise networking: routing/switching, firewalls, VPN, secure connectivity.
- Infrastructure platforms: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware vSphere, NetApp storage.
- Database operations: SQL environments, reporting, backup/restore, data integrity.
- Security operations: vulnerability management, monitoring, incident response, compliance.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams in complex environments.
- Strong performance management, coaching, and team development capabilities.
- Ability to set priorities, allocate resources, and manage competing demands in a 24/7 operational context
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with police agencies, public-sector partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
All employees are required to obtain and maintain a RCMP Security Clearance. Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents and have lived in Canada for at least 5 years.
This is a hybrid role; regular on-site presence is required in our Burnaby office.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $126,210 – $189,315 per year (based on 2026 rates)
